Diagnostic Hearing Test 02

For £99 you will get the most comprehensive form of hearing health analysis – and the best possible performance from Hearing Aids.

This form of hearing test is also ideal for occupational health/work-related requirements – or if you need a copy (hard or soft) of your Audiogram.

Different elements of human speech have different sound frequencies, which is why, in this Eye Test Chart visualisation, your sight becomes blurry one row at a time, whereas your hearing becomes muffled one sound at a time. Therefore, even with only mild hearing loss, you will hear certain parts of a sentence clearly – whereas other parts of the same sentence will be muffled or even inaudible.

This is why a Diagnostic Hearing Test measures hearing loss at multiple different sound frequencies – and this is one of many ways in which it is a superior methodology.

Download the Diagnostic Hearing Test brochure here – or call us, if you want to find out more.

Happy to Have Helped so Many 04

Martin Smith

Although it was a bit of a shock that I had hearing loss, Norani Lucas discussed the situation very clearly and recommended a particular model of hearing aids. I thought about it overnight and although pretty expensive and I was apprehensive, I decided to go ahead. Norani fine-tuned each aid to get the best result. We loaded the app to my phone so that they could be controlled. There has been further help and advice with cleaning as I needed it.

I cannot fault the care and attention I have had so far and although this is only my second day with the aids the result is fantastic. It’s something I should have done years ago and I feel totally confident that I will continue to receive any care and adjustments to the hearing aids that might be necessary along the way.

Caroline Bennett

I came here earlier in the year for a very bad ear infection which the NHS didn’t seem to be able to fix… and they fixed it very quickly. Then I came again to get my hearing tested and now have very discreet hearing aids… once again the NHS had told me that my hearing problem wasn’t fixable by hearing aids. I’m delighted with them… and they seemed very good value. Everyone is incredibly helpful and friendly. Couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Mahesh Shah

I went to Hearology to get hearing aids. The Audiologist was excellent, very professional and extremely patient with my questions and eventual selection of my hearing aids. I am very happy with the hearing aids.
I would strongly recommend Hearology.

Jane Asher

This was the most helpful visit I have made anywhere to sort out my hearing problems. I have tried other devices, but these are the most adaptable , comfortable and workable hearing aids. Furthermore the expert advice and care they gave was brilliant. Can’t recommend more warmly, super service.

Peter Stevens

I was apprehensive about trying hearing aids but the audiology test was handled professionally and the audiologist took me through the results sympathetically. I felt comfortable going through the entire process of advice on the type of device most suitable, fitting and dealing with queries and minor concerns in the early weeks of wearing the aids. It’s important to have a good relationship with one’s audiologist and found it easy to build a good rapport with Simon.

Jan Knight

This is my second 5 star review of Hearology within a few weeks of one another. The hearing test here is incredibly detailed. I would thoroughly recommend this company if anyone is thinking of having a hearing test and is worried about being put under pressure. This company does not take commission for any form of hearing technology, and as such is to be trusted.

Daniel Steenstra

Excellent; I was able to test several hearing aids, without pressure, until I was satisfied that they were right for me. I received unbiased advice and professional and courteous service.

David FitzGerald

Formerly, a reluctant hearing aid user now totally won over by Hearology’s expertise, sophisticated hearing testing and hearing aid solutions. A very professional and friendly service. More than happy to recommend.

Stan Colomb

I went to see Hearology for some ear moulds and ending up in a discussion about my hearing. Vincent’s calm, caring and genuine desire to help others was incredible and I cannot thank him and Hearology enough for the way they have gone above and beyond to help me improve my hearing. I have had my new hearing aids for less than a week and the difference it has made to my life is incredible.

Sylvia Williams

Following a recommendation, both my husband and I were so delighted with our visit to Hearology at Euston today. We were treated with extreme charm, patience and kindness. After extensive examinations and tests we were both prescribed and supplied with suitable/appropriate hearing aids and have follow-up appointments next week when as a ‘gel’ I will pickup my hair colour-matched set! Marvellous.

garymarkwill1

Very friendly & helpful staff. They relax you and make certain you fully understand the process. Person who did my hearing test was very professional & informative. Would very highly recommend.

Jenie D

I have been using Hearology for over a year. I have been to other audiologists, but I can truly say the facilities and products on offer are second to none! Perhaps most importantly however, was the aftercare provided. Hearology’s Finance Manager was absolutely outstanding! Her support was exceptional and will never forget her kindness!

Bryn Abrams

I was referred for a hearing test and further ear investigation. The team were really knowledgeable, friendly and caring. They explained everything really clearly and put me at ease. Really pleased with the service.

Praim Singh

Professional, honest and good value.
My audiologist was knowledgeable and helped to reassure me about my hearing worries. I’d recommend Hearology (Euston)

Tony Scott

Alert and friendly, smart and efficient – and that’s the staff handling the bookings and reception. The professional audiologist I saw had all those qualities, plus patience, in-depth knowledge and nice sense of humour. A rare and wonderful combination in the healthcare world.

Tyrone Alexander

Outstanding client care and service. Having visited on the first occasion in March, I found the organisation to be excellent in it's approach to it's client base. Returned yesterday for hearing test and once again they proved to me that Hearology are leaders in their field. I would recommend everyone attend for an appointment here, where you will be treated with the utmost respect.

Hannah Randolph

Very accommodating. They found an audiologist who was willing to stay late to accommodate me outside of work hours due to my job. But it didn’t feel rushed and they took the time to explain everything to me. Made sure I was completely happy with everything and have offered to stay late for the follow up when I need it! Highly recommend and have more choice and are cheaper than other places like hidden hearing that I have gone to.

Javed Chowdry

Professional services done by Hearology I had hearing test done and Wax removed I must say gentle man was very competent and friendly I will recommend Hearology .The gentle man who served me was Vincent Howard he was very nice and friendly and very good at his job

Sherry Hallmond

Very happy with my hearing aids two months on. Had a first class test and best of all, was able to try out and report back on the hearing aids over three weekly visits. Being able to hear properly has opened up the world, so to speak. The staff are friendly and professional. They answer your questions. The aids are very comfortable to wear and I’d have no hesitation in contacting the clinic for help if I needed it.

Fernanda Tranquillo

When I booked my hearing test at Hearology I already knew the prognosis but frankly was resistant to using hearing aids. I was pleasantly surprised though that already on the second day of using the hearing aids, these felt natural to me. They also fit well and are not at all intrusive. It has changed my life and now I am able to follow and participate in discussions as well as follow my yoga and meditation classes.

ONE MILLION GOLD STARS
After having an awful and very expensive experience with an audiologist in Golders Green, I found Hearology, this company is one of the three top audiologist services in London. This company is privately owned and everything is the best, latest testing equipment, accurate and thorough testing and and programming and the friendliest, most patient service with excellent after care.
Thank you thank you thank you

Michael Field is a Health and Care Professions Council-registered Audiologist and a Tinnitus Lay Counsellor.  His international career to date has spanned 35 years and taken in speech pathology, Hearing Aid dispensing and aural microsuction.

The Positive Impact of Hearing Aid Usage on Dementia 09

Our brains behave like a muscle – if you stimulate them, they develop, if you don’t, they decline in effectiveness and vigour. So, it makes sense that mental decline associated with age and/or dementia will speed up if hearing loss deprives your brain of the auditory stimulation it is used to.

There is an ever-growing body of scientific research to suggest that the use of Hearing Aids can significantly DECREASE the rate of age-related cognitive decline.

The findings from this body of scientific research are clearly summarised and illustrated in an informative and independently published document that you can download right here: Hearing Care, cognitive decline and dementia: A public health challenge, or an opportunity for healthy ageing?
